The California Cider Company

Ace Cider was founded by Jeffrey House, who moved to the USA from the UK in the 1970s – looking for an opportunity, with little wealth, to get himself started. After years of long-distance love, his beautiful girlfriend Angela followed him to the USA from the UK, and they were married in Las Vegas. The California Cider Company is located at 2064 Gravenstein Hwy N in Sebastopol, CA.

Sonoma County Apple Orchards

Jeffrey found luck in the apple orchards of Sonoma County, California, where familiarity drew him to cider making, having had experience with the popular alcoholic beverage in the UK.

Preparing for his own cider business, Jeffrey worked in the beer and cider industry, saving money until 1993, when he opened ACE Cider, California’s Original Cider Mill. Ace Cider offers a diverse range of cider options, catering to every type of cider drinker, from those who prefer dry ciders to those who enjoy sweeter varieties.

Over these years, he had three sons with his beautiful wife and sent them to be educated to prepare for the world’s opportunities.

Now decades later, having helped build the American hard cider industry, Jeffrey finds luck and refuge in his sons’ passion for continuing to develop his family cider business.

Ace Cider Flavors

Ace Cider Tasting Room

The Ace Cider Brewery tasting room was previously open from 1 PM to 5 PM on Fridays, but please call ahead to verify the operating schedule. It’s a perfect stop on a wine-country tour of West Sonoma County. Won’t you stop by to add some variety to your wine tastings?
