Our Alexander Valley Collector is back, featuring this rare vertical collection of our 2014 through 2019 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. These bottlings are elegantly presented in our 6-bottle wood collector box. Each bottle has been carefully aged in our cellar since release and is insured at no cost. Enjoy a clear snapshot of the past with each bottle from our beloved Alexander Valley winery. These wines are ready to enjoy or can be aged for years. Quantities are minimal.

- The autographed bottle will be shipped to the winning bidder within approximately 45 days.
- Alcohol can only be shipped to an address where an individual of at least 21 can sign for the package during regular business hours.
- The carrier will make three delivery attempts, at which point the package will be returned. I am happy to re-ship returned packages; however, an additional shipping fee will be incurred.

Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
Ah, the elegance of the 2019 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, a wine that dances on the palate with notes of red cherry, raspberry, blackberry, iris, vanilla, and clove. Its ruby hue is a visual delight, and the wine’s graceful acidity and lift on the mid-palate are akin to a symphony’s crescendo.
The vintage of 2019 was a year of rejuvenation, with winter rains recharging the soil and filling lakes and reservoirs. A slightly delayed bud break due to cooler spring temperatures was followed by an unexpected rain event just before bloom, setting the stage for a warm summer. The vineyard’s challenge was to manage prolific plant growth and thin the crop for optimal balance.
Summer and fall in Alexander Valley were marked by an average temperature of 85°F, with only three brief heat events during fruit ripening. The fog pattern that characterizes this region played its part, and the harvest, commencing on September 11 and finishing on October 18, was generous. The resulting vintage promises layers of complexity, great depth, and elegant tannins.
The composition of this Cabernet Sauvignon is a masterful blend of 95.2% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2.5% Cabernet Franc, 1.9% Merlot, and 0.4% Petit Verdot, with an alcohol content of 14.4%. Released on August 5, 2023, this wine is a treasure that will provide drinking pleasure through 2047 with proper cellaring.
