Atlas Peak AVA

What is The Atlas Peak Appellation?

Atlas Peak AVA

The Atlas Peak American Viticultural Area (AVA) contains approximately 3,000 acres of vineyards planted at elevations between 1,500 and 2,700 feet on the slopes of Atlas Peak. The ancient volcanic soils and rugged mountain terroir produce small berries and low yields, resulting in concentrated Cabernet Sauvignons with complex characteristics of berry, mineral, and mountain herbs. Atlas Peak Cabernets are highly age-worthy wines encapsulating Napa Valley’s potential to craft intensely structured mountain wines.
